On 26 September 2008, Abbey Building submitted a planning application to Dublin City Council to construct an 80 bedroom nursing home at 18 Fairview Avenue Lower & Fairview Terrace. MORE DETAIL HERE

On 2 April 2009, Dublin City Council granted permission to the proposal with certain conditions - click here to see the permission and the conditions.
The Residents’ Association is holding a public meeting about this development at 8pm. on Wednesday 15 April in the CY hall on Philipsburgh Ave. Public reps have been invited.
