FRA: Marino Conservation area
Dublin City Council has proposed that the Marino area be rezoned from Z1 (residential) to Z2 (residential conservation).
Zoning Z1 - To protect, provide and improve residential amenities
Zoning Z2 - To protect and/or improve the amenities of residential conservation areas.
This will have the effect of providing Marino with “an enhanced level of protection to the unique architectural quality of the area”.
Only a small area in our Residents’ Association, around Brian Ave., is included. We shall however keep an eye on this proposal as it could have a knock-on effect on Fairview. Indeed perhaps Fairview might be rezoned in the future.
