And there are yet more twists in the long-running attempts to develop 18 Fairview Avenue. In June 2009 Abbey Building Contractors lodged a new application for 20 independent living units, to accommodate 51 residents “Ref. No. 3196/09″.

Fairview Residents’ Association has lodged an Observation in support of an appeal by Turlough Gardens residents against the City Council’s decision to grant permission for a mixed development on Esmond Avenue (rear of Philipsburg Avenue).
